We'll be bringing the extended family down for a late December to early January vacation and am wondering the best approach to get the best of JVD during our stay. (We are staying on Tortola). We have been to Jost a number of times and always seem disappointed with the ferry schedule returning so early that we can't stay for sunset or dinner.

First, is it worth it to try to enjoy a sunset from White Bay or dinner at Foxy's?

If so, do I want to get a captain or rent a boat for a day (or half day) or is it possible to get a water taxi one-way back to west end?

Thanks!

Sunset in White Bay is dependent on time of year. Dinner at Foxy’s is not worth the effort. Spend the day on JVD - go to Indigo Beach House in Cane Garden Bay for an amazing dinner with sunset views.

Frankie Chinnery will do water taxi from JVD to West End. His dad is Bunn, a well known land taxi operator on JVD. Web site bunnstaxi.com. Also, loads of information.
