My wife wants to spend a day on Grand Case beach during our upcoming trip and several friends have recommended the Rainbow Cafe which I see is currently closed. Will the Rainbow open again before Oct 25th? If not are there other recommendations? GCBC?

They will not be re-opening until early November. Their actual re-opening date is not yet set. Below is a response from them.
"Thank you for contacting Rainbow Café!
We are currelty closed due to our annual vacation period. We can't wait to welcome you again in the beginning of November. Stay tuned for our offical opening date!
See you soon!
Team Rainbow Café"

Les Temps de Cerises (sp?) is a nice option; it's close to Rainbow.

Thank you all for your input. How is parking on that end of the beach?

Not as such, but the beach there, Petit Plage, is lovely, and is open to the public, as is the restaurant. Chairs and umbrellas are there for rent, and they have beach service.

If you want peaceful, I suggest GCBC. For more of an active vibe either Captain Frenchy or LTC would be my pick. All three have good food and cocktails. The chairs at Rainbow are uncomfortable.
I prefer the Isle seat

Dolfer, there is a paid lot on the left hand side of the street a few yards before you get to LTC. There is often parking available on the street in that area, though it depends on the day and time of day.

Dolfer I just sent you a PM about how to get into GCBC to park because the "free" side beach you park outside GCBC on the road which can be a pain at times.

I would LOVE to know how to use the GCBC parking. I have stopped going there due to having to park on the street and walk down.
