Is the application still required within 3 days of arrival? We are traveling on Tuesday, can we apply on Saturday? Thanks.

Yes, unless you are not vaccinated and need testing. If you need testing than you have 48 or 24 hours depending on the type of test you are submitting.

Yes, as of now, you still have to have EHAS approval. It is three days before, yes. See the Daily Herald story posted today. Not sure how they calculate that. Just apply on Saturday and if you're too early, it will kick you out.
And dolfer--yes, you have to scan your vax card.
As of now, NO mandatory insurance though.
