Sounds like a nice place to stay for charterers. Are there any reviews out there? We are heading down in March for a charter with Horizon, and have many options for a stay on both ends, but leaning towards GBR. Other crew members are looking at other properties.....thoughts, tips??

We used GBR last month for the nights before and after our charter. Nice place, reasonable price, awesome large showers for that end of trip "non-boat" shower! Can't say enough good things about the friendly staff!

We have booked with GBR for both ends of our upcoming trip, and will post a report when we get back. They have been great to work with up to this point! Thanks for the feedback!

Nutmeg, they may be talking about the Grenada Beach Resort which is on Grand Anse Beach. If you're only staying overnight La Heliconia is right near there, not on the beach but a 10 minute walk to it. We stayed there for our last night (20 EC) for a taxi to the airport. The Beach House Restaurant was really nice, but a little pricey $102 US for 2 dinners, drinks and tax, but well worth it for a special dinner. The Old School pub is right near there and is popular with the university students, they also have local meals very reasonably priced

Drink all day at home, your friends worry about you; do it on vacation and they say "what a good time you're having". Save your friends needless worry, travel more!

Hey Nutmeg, it is the Grooms Beach Resort, which is pretty close to the airport on Grenada, I guess. The web-site should pop right up if you enter the name. They have been very helpful with putting four couples up. look forward to posting a positive report, and, what I anticipate to be a great visit, sail and probably a need to go BACK !

Well, it was more for clarification because the southern Caribbean is a big bunch of islands.
