I was wondering if anyone has heard what is the status of the Club O reconstruction? I originally saw there was mention of the fall of 2021 but obviously that didn't happen. Has there been any updates? Heading back in November and was hoping to see signs of construction.

Here is the link for the updates for the reconstruction of Club Orient. Doesn't sound promising. https://cluborient.com/rebuild/#:~:text=Yes%2C%20Club%20Orient%20will%20reopen,since%20shortly%20after%20Hurricane%20Irma.

Would be nice to know why. Can't blame the PPRN status any more. Owners still not playing nice in the sandbox?

Can anyone tell if there is anything new on that site since last year? It all looks the same to me.

Lesley--I was talking about the WEBSITE, but if you are referring to the location where Club O is/was, it is not totally blocked, as there is no way to do that. Anyone can get in there, via the beach.

It certainly appears as if the website has NOT been updated in more than a year.

That's certainly my feeling, based on 'our goal is to have work begin onsite by fall 2021". I wish them well, but it was the beginning of the end, when the Brinks sold out. Just too many different interests to satisfy after that.
