We have booked a trip to Tortola for late September, land based. Is anything still open? We have been several times in June, October and November but not September. Due to my son getting married in November this was our only time we could make it.

There is so much open in September you will not miss a thing and if you are adventuresome you will find a dozen new places you will love. Listen to Mal's suggestions. Explore the East End and Beef Island. Cane Garden will have lots open as Sugar Mill should be going along with some in Carrot Bay and Sopers Hole.

I think Sugar Mill is closing soon but Manpot will have the details.

Robin just said they'll be open in August and September. They'll close for 1 1/2 weeks at the end of October, early November.

Last night was the last night for Brandywine Estate until September 14.
If you're ever on island for one of the tasting/wine pairing events definitely go! Expensive but with the wine pairing, it's worth it. Last night was a French theme for Bastille Day. Fantastic meal and nicely paired wines from Caribbean Cellars! I have pics of the menu and food courses if anyone is interested.

We arrive on Friday. 3rd sailing trip in 3 years and it never worked out for dinner at Brandywine. Does anyone have any suggestions for a high end dinner on Saturday July 30th? We will be at Nanny Cay and can move around. Thanks in advance.

The Sugar Mill will be open (upstairs) on the 30th..closing August 1.Make a reservation as it is greatly appreciated. Andrea or Rupert will take care of you very well.( You'll probably see me dining at the bar..last meal before leaving next day).

Thanks Manpot. I looked at the menu, it seems to me excellent. Only since the restaurant closes on the first of August, is the menu likely to be limited?

Update: as Manpot already said, they posted mid-October on their FB page. I'm using 10/21 as a possible open date. See you at the bar round 7pm for some soup, Malcom?

Thanks Manpot. I looked at the menu, it seems to me excellent. Only since the restaurant closes on the first of August, is the menu likely to be limited? It is a great menu. Lamb chops and French Onion soup are both great!

On the flipside, I doubt Paradise Club will close and they have some of the best food on CGB. Highlights are the pizza, fries, and lamb shawarma for me. If they have grouper, the ceviche is excellent!
