Ok, finally got to Leverick with some awesome wifi. Going to give you the Cliff Notes version.

Arrived St. Thomas around noon. I was expecting ferry disaster but the BVI Gods were smiling. We caught a 2:30 ferry that got us in hours earlier than I expected off season and it was on time, ok, left at 2:45 but that is as on time as I need. Jim and Cecilia had the boat ready and in perfect order. By that I mean several cold ones on ice. Had a wonderful dinner at the Red Rock Restaurant. Perfect ambiance and I had the sausage pasta and it
was just what I needed.

Day one was to Norman Island, snorkeling at the caves, then some beach time at Pirates Cove where we also enjoyed the first half of the World Cup semifinal. My wife and I are traveling with my son and his girlfriend so Willie T's was on the agenda. It was a fun time, not as rowdy as some of the times I remembered, key word here is remembered, but there was a good crowd and they had a great time.

Day 2: Was up later than normal, well, Willie T's is responsible for that. Sailed around Sopers and ended up at cane garden bay in the afternoon. Had a long nap, enjoyed the beach and we were planning on picking up some burgers and hotdogs and salad for a a nice grill on the boat, but Bobby's was completely devoid of anything near edible. Not good. So we decided on having a quick dinner where we were at Tonys. The ribs were outstanding. As we left we saw a building next to Quitos, I think it's called the Pleasure Boat, anyway, it's small but has all the meats and fresh vegetables you want. I remember that as a place you just sometimes could get ice. So, remember that if Bobby's is not well stocked when you get here. I wish I had seen it earlier.

Day 3: The long slog to Leverick Bay but it's certainly so worth it. Right now, doing some laundry and enjoying the pool and a cold one. My wife and the young ones are off to the Baths and whatever. We are meeting back for the Friday night BBQ.

Tomorrow we are off to Anegada for two days and then, who knows.

Anyone who crosses our path, I am Steve and we are on Jim's Dream II. Say hello and we can hoist one or two together.
