Pre covid we could spend a week on Anegada twice a year for around $5,000 per trip. That is no longer. I have just booked our Nov '22 trip for just over $8,000. Besides the cost of the villa, the biggest expense is Island Birds from STT to Anegada. I chose that route (CLT-STT-NGD) due to recent comments on this board about flying through SJU. I have completely lost confidence in Inter Caribbean, Silver and Cape Air. As George1 predicted, the regional airlines are struggling. I decided for an extra $1,500 we can take the regionals out of the equation. At $8k that will only allow us to go once a year. But hey, once a year on Anegada is still better than not going at all.
The point of this post is to not whine about pricing or airlines. It is to thank all of you who post on here regularly with your experiences. You all are great at posting the good and the bad of your trips. That information is invaluable to all of our planning. I specifically want to thank Jason who has been very kind in answering my numerous PM's. I owe you.
Again, thank you all for your posts. I hope to see some of you in November. We will be on Anegada Nov 13-22. Thanks everyone!
Go Irish!!

We tried to take Island Birds a couple weeks ago, but couldn't get them to respond to emails and phone calls. I kept having to leave voicemails.

I filled out their form online. I received an autoreply right away. After over a week I reached out to Jason. He suggested I call their 284 number. I called this morning and got right through.

And you said it took 5 days for them to respond. Our water taxi got mashed up and we didn't have 5 days to wait for them.

We tried Island Birds as well for a trip we are taking to Anegada next week. Filled out their online inquiry, no response. Emailed, no response. Called, left message, got a call back a few days later. Hopefully it's because they are swamped busy! We called FlyBVI, a wonderful lady answered the phone, and we are taking them to Anegada next week. Not cheap, but not bad for 6 people.

I'm sure. But still working full time for another 4 years or so. Plus the fur babies might have a problem being gone a month as well.

We never had children. So trying to spend it all before we can't travel anymore. Looking forward to the day when the job doesn't get in the way of being down there longer.

No thanks bailau. I gave my parents enough grief to know it would be a bad idea for me. You know, karma.
Jason, so very true.
