Took the liberty of adding a few paragraphs for easier reading.

Getting here was easy since both of us are vaccinated. We were thru customs and in our car within 30 minutes of arrival. Kenny car rental car was there and on our way quickly from airport. Picked up groceries from Carrefour and were at oyster bay and checked into our room by 3pm. The resort looks great but they are doing some renovations to some units.

Restaurants: Skipjacks, Lees, Pineapple Pete’s, Mamas Pizza, Driftwood and I can’t remember the name of the little restaurant by Oyster Pond or Grand Case. Everything was great. Driftwood is pretty basic stuff but we really enjoyed it and including on the way to airport hit there three times. Infinity Restaurant at Resort was very good.

Beaches we went to Orient four days Happy Bay a couple of days and enjoyed the pool a few days. Did a snorkeling tour with Captain Alan from resort and wife really enjoyed the snorkeling. Actually saw a few sharks on back of Tintamarre alone with lots of turtles and fish.

The goats on the island kept a close watch on us from the hills above. Wife made me hike out of resort thru Oyster Pond to hill across from Marina every day except one. Our donkey friends were there as usual and we saw a couple of horses with a young foal one day.

At airport now way to early. I was complaining about our walk until we ran into these other ladies and couples walking all the way from the Westin. Had my hip replaced just over 3 months ago and no issues.

We were checked into American and thru security and immigration within 15 ministers. Direct flight back to DFW in 3 hours. Already missing the island but miss our pups too. Goodbye to our happy place for another year. Hope everyone has safe trips and as good a trip as we did.

Driftwood Yes one of the best rum punches on sxm and the food ain't bad also.
The best rum punch in my humble opinion is to be found at Cupecoy beach bar.

Do you remember the old Dodge van they use to bake the pizza in??? I swear that was amazing pizza, this coming from a NewYorker!! And you got a free drink with an order of a large pie!! Over the years, we've pitstopped there for there menu. The Philly Cheese steak sandwich is amazing!! Have to try your Cupecoy beach bar rum punch! AHHH Cliffside bar had the best BBC acorrding to wife "Fabila"!! That had an amazing view!! Not bad food either.
