Just got back from scrub. Apparently the dock mgr daid agreement to have scrub run marina cay is inked.

Marina Cay is a special place...if this is true and Scrub/Mainsail does it right, they could build something really neat there once again.

This is not really new news. Last winter they did a massive clean-up of Marina Cay: huge Chalwell barges hauled away lots of debris, brush was cut, etc. Then nothing.
Plan I heard was to sell gas, maybe water. Last I saw, nothing had been rebuilt, and that will require deep pockets. DYC stopped paying boat owners during Covid and then had issues with Customs. The moorings should be self funding, but It remains to be seen where the rest comes from.

Scrub announced on twitter today they will have a fuel dock starting in the fall.

Here's the thing: barging fuel out to MC is expensive. Loose Mongoose is now selling fuel, at a competitive price, a little more than East End. We're happy to be able to buy fuel there at a decent price.
