I recently posted a comment regarding the questionable added fees by some restaurants in SXM on another website forum (Everything Sint Maarten/Sint Martin). The Post, "This issue has become a common complaint from diners of restaurants in SXM. Unethical tricks to boost profit won't stop until people stop eating at these places." The Response, The admin team removed your comment in Jeff Berger's Everything St. Maarten / St. Martin / SXM Facebook Group and gave you a warning. a day ago All generalizations are false, and we don't publish them. Don't do this again.
Does that mean that some of these places contribute to Mr. Berger and are therefore exempt from legitimate criticism of unethical tactics?

More likely, their website is designed by an affiliated company and therefore on the "protected list" of businesses. There is likely some type of "business relationship" for sure. His board and he can run it as he sees fit and posters/members can choose to participate or not.

His weekly news letter has morphed into 3/4 “disguised “ advertising. No longer a fan…..

"Don't do this again" Felt like I had chewed gum in the 1st grade. Probably as significant.

i have already disengaged with that site and have heard from others who have done the same, seems you have to march to the DRUMMER (Berger) or feel the wrath (LOL)..As someone stated earlier in this string, there are better sites to exchange opinions

That weekly "news letter" is mostly a compilation of Daily Herald articles and a push for Sky Med. Favorable restaurant reviews are for the pay to play plan.
