Brief history. The Calico is Picasso, who showed up at GCBC around 2011 as a feral, and has never been tamed. We captured her in 2015, taking her to the vet for her "sanctioning" procedure. She likes the parking lot, because the cars offer her protective cover from those who might feed her inferior foods, The orange guy is Pablo, son of PIcasso , who was born in 2014, feral up until Gonzalo, and then discovered all us crazy cat fans were a source of loving, both caloric and non caloric, the former being preferable. We captured him 2 weeks later for his "sanctioning" procedure. Finally, the white guy is Larimar, belongs to the Wrights, but forages for food with the rest.
Thank you! I know how much feline presence adds to one's vacation. One year, I had 14 cats on my balcony at Divi, where I had several bowls of food. The cat population at Divi has been dwindling, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing.
Speaking of the Wrights, do they still have a rental at Blue Marine? I stayed in a rental of theirs before Irma, which really devastated Blue Marine. Wondering if they renovated the unit after Irma?
I know that 2 years ago the Wrights had a place in Cupecoy, but I don't know where. It must have either survived intact or been renoed as they had to go to the unit on occasion when GCBC needed their temporary quarters here.
