While staying our last day at Emerald Beach a couple of weeks ago we met a young lady named Coleen walking her dog on the beach. Struck up a dog conversation and found out she and her husband had just opened a restaurant in the Frenchtown area called Rum Shandy Cabana Bar. They moved down from the NE to chase this dream and are proud that "everything is made from scratch". Met her husband then, former special ops in Afganistan (sp?). Both very nice and while we didn't have time to try it out thought I'd mention it here for those who may be so inclined.
IF they're still open next year we'll definitely go.

Rum Shandy was a good stop when we were there two weeks ago. The tinctures and syrups in house were quite good. Fun spot, where the old Loonie Bien was.

Same area as Hook, Line, & Sinker just a block or so from the ferry dock.
