After over three months of "negotiating" with TripMate, World Nomads and Nationwide we have finally received correct and final payments for the Charter claim we filed after our trip was canceled in January due to covid.

Even though I was the only one who paid for the Charter, TripMate would not allow my claim for the full amount of the charter cost.
They insisted on dividing the claim by the number of guests sign up for the charter.
They made it very clear that it you did not purchase a policy there would be no refund for the charter.
It took some time to agree on the exact amount due, since the amounts paid varied base on single or double occupancy in each cabin.
Claim checks have been issued to the five of seven members of the crew that took out insurance.

Looking forward to our next trip in spring 2023. Hopefully travel restrictions and testing requirements will have eased.

Glad to hear. Been wondering how this turned out.
