Is that $70 for one person? Seems awfully high.

We tested at Hope estates on Thursday for our flight yesterday and no one ever asked to see it at the airport or anywhere else.

That is what we paid last May for our US return when we tested at the SBR next to Hollywood Casino. Was very convenient staying at Flamingo. Will probably do it again there if still required then.

My point was that I wouldn't pay the same price for a self test.

This is one of the Tests offered I just wanted to make sure that I didn’t need the PCR test to come home that I could take the antigen at least this particular one.

$45 at SLS on Hamster Drive was a decent deal. Antigen test and results within 30 minutes in my case.

Unfortunately, we fly home today after 4 wonderful weeks. That meant we had to have our Covid-19 tests yesterday It rained pretty heavily all morning until about 11:30. We arrived at Simpson Bay Resort guest services about 10:15. Really crowded but well organized. We had pre-registered the day before which is required so once we got inside the took our passports and pulled up all our info. Paid the fee, got our swabs up the nose and we on our way just before noon. Time from when we got inside to when we left was maybe 10 minutes tops. Had it been sunny we would have begrudged the 90 minute wait but as it rained most of that time it wasn't bad. They have limited hours on Saturday and Sunday so perhaps that's an issue
During the week the place is deserted in the afternoon. It's snowing at home today....

Thank you for sharing your vacation with us and thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures from Isola and La Sucriere. My wife and I are addicted to both.
Safe travels.

Hope you had a safe and non eventful flight home. What was the cost of the test at SBR?

Cost was $65.

Flight to DC was uneventful. Actually had a pretty good meal on the plane. On to Detroit this morning.

I was guessing United because he said he flew into DC. He said he was flying the rest of the way home today.

OK. I was hoping it was AA since that food looked much better than last May on AA First Class. Course with Covid protocols relaxing maybe this may AA will be better.

Our First Class meals on AA last trip were barely edible and a far cry from delicious. Turkey snd Swiss on a dried out crescent - First Class? Really? The OPs meals looked awesome for their entire trip.

Respectfully,

pat

That's what it was last May. When was your last FC trip on AA? Ours are coming up this May.

Yes, our flight was on United and first class. Hated the Dulles airport though. UGH.

I figured it had to be United, to route you through DC. What didn't you like about Dulles? The people movers?

Carol, We arrived at gate C14 as you exit the plane you turn right down a narrow hallway that goes clear to the other end of the terminal. As you walk along, and it's a LONG walk other planes discharge their passengers into the same corridor and it gets crowded and backed up. Eventually we made it to the shuttle and were jammed in like sardines. When we got to immigration I tired at least 6 Global Entry kiosks and none of them would work for me. Eventually a worker came up and said go and just show your card. Got to baggage claim All of us waited and waited. I eventually went to the service desk and they said "Oh, there were too many bags from other flights so your flights bags are are over there in the corner". No announcements or signs. Frustrating.

I was just thinking, it's been a LONG time since I was at Dulles. Back when we lived there, it wasn't nearly as busy as Reagan and we preferred it to Reagan, as traffic was much easier to get there. Times have changed.
