We are on the island now and are craving an awesome burger for dinner (which we rarely eat), been coming here for 25 years but always go to the finer restaurants every night but tonight, just a casual awesome burger wanted!! Any suggestions? Thanks!

Don’t think I’ve ever had a burger on island but we took friends to Mary’s Boon a few years ago and the husband ordered a burger. He still talks about it being the best burger he’s ever had. Anywhere. Quite a few years ago and the restaurant was under different management then but who knows. Or maybe he’d never had a burger in a setting quite like that and it may have just made a lasting impression on him. 😊😊

Respectfully,

pat

BBB and SSBB have always had great burgers. But after seeing a picture of the burger at Fat Tony's I might have to give that one a try. Burger at Yelow Beach on Pinel was outstanding too.

I had a very good burger at Bar Code and probably the best French fries I have ever had one day last week. Mark's Place has also had a very good burger in the past. I also had a b urger at Lagoonies, it was decent but the fries were a disappointment. My choice would be either of the first two places I mentioned, depending on your location and willingness to travel.

To ME, personally, if you're going to have a burger, you have to have fries with it, and great fries!! Based on that, I would go Bar Code!!!

I haven't been to Bar Code, but Capt Frenchy's in Grand Case makes an awesome burger. Their fries are so so.

You won’t be sorry, I’m sure. Not personally big on beef burgers but the fish burger there is very good and the frites are delicious. Actually, I’m told all the offerings are that good but I just can’t seem to get beyond the fish.🙂🙂

The Palms when Greg has them, with a homemade bun that is alone delicious. It is simple and good. I have also had good burgers at Sunset Cafe and Bar (Grand Case Beach Club) and LTC. I don't like them when too much is added and then it is too thick to enjoy.

Hard to find a bad burger on island. Except for the ones Papagyo on Orient would serve. Had to be the worst burger I've ever had anywhere and not just on St Maarten.
