Sunday, sunday, what a day! Today's breakfast was quiche and croissants from the French patisserie. Best ever!

The morning was mostly cloudy and Very windy. Didn't stop us from sitting by the pool though. After lunch we had a torrential downpour with Very strong winds. Drove us to seek shelter! After about a half hour though the clouds all disappeared, the winds became a good breeze and the afternoon became lovely. The storm much have wreaked havoc with the Regatta.

At 5:30 we had a zoom session with a friend in California. So good to connect.

Sunday night is pizza night. Lots of salad a 5 different pies from Isola. I think we all ate too much, but it was SO GOOD!!!
Finished up by watching the movie "Beauty Shop". Great, fun movie.

Was that quiche from Le Suciere? It looks like it! And boy those pizzas look good.

The regatta was over on Saturday, so the strong winds on Sunday would not have affected it, but I understand there were a couple of yachts de-masted on either Friday or Saturday, due to the high winds.

Carol, there were races on Sunday. It was raining so hard you couldn’t see the boats at one point.

Carol, you're correct! La suciere. So, so good!

We could see the boats racing on Sunday. Not nearly as many and at one point you couldn't see them at all for the rain. Glad I wasn't out there @

I was surprised too carol. Maybe they added Sunday because there’s not really a party this year by the casino
