My friend who is traveling with us is wondering if anyone knows where he could get a navigational map of St. Martin. A basic nav chart. He’s thinking it would be cool to get one and have it framed.
St. Martin yacht club maybe?

Located in Cole Bay, look under navigational charts on their web site. Probably a cool store to browse in also.

This Imray chart may be what you’re looking for. I’ve only seen it in folded format.

I have an old version of that chart framed in my house. It was not folded, rather, it was a flat sheet and we rolled it into a candboard tube to get it home. I think it must have come from Bobbies Marina just past the Greenhouse.

The most common chart for this region is the Imray A24. It can be purchased from many sources in many formats. An excellent source in the US is Nautical Charts Online and they sell in many formats on many types of material and have 4 different framing / mounting solutions available. Their link is below.

Thanks for the link, I find some of the pricing high, but I'm only used to buying nautical charts for nautical use, LOL. I don't frame my charts.

I really have no need for charts. I use the stars, a lead line, and prayers.

I was really answering for the OP who had a friend looking for something foo-fooey.
