Everything looks great online and with some high rates but I'm curious if anyone has been there this year since Covid acted up again and appears now to be on the downslide.
Also, some 8.0's and 10.0's were sullied by some 2.0 and 1.0 ratings.
Any updates appreciated.
Option #1 is the Hard Rock Cancun.

You may want to also pose this question in the Costa Mujeres and Cancun forums on TripAdvisor. Those forums are much, much more active than this one.
Also, if you join the Facebook guest forum for a resort you can get helpful feedback from current and recent guests. 😉

crmoores is probably correct, as most people here think that Mexico is kind of risky to travel to at the moment..
