You are required to have a PCR or antigen test taken within 5 days of arrival to the BVI. If it's within 2 days of arrival you will NOT need to register on the hummingbird testing portal or retest at the airport.

What is the hummingbird testing portal? Is that for San Juan? So I just need to bring my test results of 2 days prior or less and don’t need anything else?

The hummingbird portal is for the BVI but only for people tested 3-5 days before arrival. You will also need proof of vaccination and insurance.

Jason, Are they still checking insurance info. I have heard from more than a few that no one is really adhering to that? You probably have better info being on the ground.

The insurance is part of the requirements. I was prepared with just my BCBS card. I did not purchase any other insurance. But I was never asked about insurance. That was last November.
Do not take that as me advocating for not getting the proper insurance. This was just my experience.

So do I need to fill out any forms for San Juan or VG if I am fully vaccinated and test 2 days before? I will be in San Juan overnight before heading to VG? Any testing required for San Juan or only the testing w days before VG? Thanks…when we last went last April it was completely different……

You need to fill out the PR portal if you overnight there.
We have not been asked for insurance, although we have it. The issue for some people has been testing positive when it's time to leave and having to pay for extended accommodation in the BVI. One is supposed to go to government approved, gold seal quarantine lodging. Of course if one does an eMed test, I don't know how they would find out you were positive, so your options might be wider.
