I have seen conflicting statements if it is allowed for arrival from mainland to Stt. Anyone have a number, I can call for verification or know if it can be used for 3 day test before arrival into St Thomas from US mainland? . I know it can be used to leave the BVI.

We used it in November and January from US mainland to USVI and then again from BVI to USVI. No issues whatsoever.

Susan we plan on using the Binax before we leave US to arrive in STT. Shouldn't be an issue

I used Emed/Binax in Dec for US to USVI and again on Friday. I had my approved green QR code within 10 hours(overnight) using Emed Binax. Also used those test for re-entry from BVI to USVi in Dec. Will be using another in a couple days.

We submitted our Binax yesterday at 11AM Eastern and received our response from the travel portal at 6PM.

I am happy to hear that RickG. We could not find any lab within an hour of our house that will test for travel I have PCR mail in tests but because of the BVI requirements of 48 hours, I was nervous about timely turnaround. I have a six pack of Binax proctored tests on the way.

The USVI Lt. Governor just announced that starting tomorrow they are going back to 5-day testing window and no test required for those vaccinated in the USVI. The travel portal is not yet updated.

Quick question about Emed tests, and apologize if this is a duplicate, I posted a few minutes ago and it looks like it did not go through. In any event we will be in BVI in March, scheduled to return to US through STT. I bought a 6pk of tests today for the crew and we were wondering how do you schedule the monitoring session with Emed. Are there appointments in advance or do you just call them when you are ready to take test? Not clear on site and they did not get back to me when I inquired. Thanks

I believe you download the Navica app from the app store, create account and follow on screen instructions for setting up test.

After installing the App scan the QR code on the front of the box with your camera it will connect you to an agent who will take control of you front and rear cameras. 15 minutes later your done.

We do not use the Navica app. We use our laptops for testing - so much easier than an iPhone as you have to use both hands and tilt the camera during certain parts of the testing procedure. Each person testing much set up their own account through emed/Navica prior to departing for trip, however. When testing you log on to emed.com, click start testing, which directs you to log into your personal acct via Navica to execute the proctored test. Test results sent to both Navica app/account and villa email. Results are password protected so you need to then screenshot the results if using the app or download into printable PDF if using email. Buy extra tests in case there are issues with the tests or you need to test again due to travel delays or a positive test. We traveled with two extra per person.
