Hello All, Back in 2018 a group of us met up in the North Sound for a "dingy crawl" going to all the bars in the North Sound for drinks. Nick was a great host and even provided water canons for everyone. It was a great time meeting and partying with other TTOLers. We started and finished at Leverick Bay. In memory of Nick, I'd love to do a "memorial" dingy crawl if there's interest and a doable date. My crew will be in the BVI Feb. 23 and again June 7. We go down 3 to 4 times a year so with planning we could arrange our dates in 2023 accordingly. Anyone game?
The North Sound Bistro would be proud to join the Crawl! Nick was a good friend and a big part of why I moved to North Sound. We can even have a bonfire on the beach at our place if you like! Keep me posted...
What a great way to honour our dear friend Nick ! Sadly our dates don’t allow this year ( we will be March/ April) but think it’s a wonderful idea . Here are a few pictures I took from our 2015 day of fun .
I'm thinking in order to make this a really great and special time, we should maybe move and start making plans for the dingy crawl in 2023. We usually come down 4 times a year, November, early spring, spring/summer, late summer,,,,,,, We have no set dates made for 2023 yet so we're flexible. If there's interest let's find a date doable for those interested. In honor of Nick, let's make this bigger and better than 2015.
We weren't part of this in 2015 but would love to participate in a future "event". We're bookmarking Jan. 6-30 and probably sometime in March or April in 2023. Maybe more time.
I wasn't at the "crawl" in 2015, but did take part in a dinghy poker run around North Sound, a TTOL event that benefited some form of animal rescue/spay/neuter program.
What a blast.
Headed back in March 0f 23. Will keep an eye on this for dates, see if we can be a part.
