We have it narrowed down to 3 villas, Paradise Revisited, Morgan Point, and Paradisellio . Anyone familiar with them? Any recommendations? Any negatives? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Stayed at Morgans point many years ago. It was fine, more like an older suburban home in the states without a real Caribbean feel. There were just the two of us, but As I recall the bedrooms are not equal, again more like a master and then a couple of bedrooms sharing a bath. Was hot as I recall, not good breeze. Had a large deck. Just above great Cruz bay, a few hundred yards from the Westin. Handy to Cruz bay and easy to get to.

We're Dolphin Run fans too. No a/c, but killer breezes, sunrise and sunset views, pool is sheltered from the breeze and close to town. Good deal.

There are over 700 rental villas on STJ now. I can't keep up with them. My favorite areas are those with sunsets, from Hart Bay to Great Cruz Bay. Second place is Ajax Peak with access to Maho/Francis Bay in 5 minutes, 10 minutes to Coral Bay and 20 minutes to Cruz Bay.

Cheers, RickG

It has been years since we have been to St. John, we have stayed waterfront on Great Cruz Bay, Gift Hill, and Gallows Point. It will be just the 2 of us this trip and prices have definitely increased. We want a pool, AC in the bedrooms and a good view. Trying to keep the cost around 2,500 for 8 nights.

We just got back from 2 weeks in a Moonhole villa on Bequia with no AC I don't think we want to go without AC this trip.

I believe I saw Moon Hole villa on a Caribbean house hunter show? All open with no doors or windows? I would be interested in reading a Bequia trip report! maybe some photo's? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />

We stayed at Tranquility villa in Moonhole, we also stayed there last year. I posted a report last year on tripadvisor also a YouTube video. There were 4 of us and my friend Terry has submitted a TA report for this year, it should be up any day, they review them before they can be posted. We all love it there!

Hey Nauticall, since it's YOUR trip report, you could copy and paste it here. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" />
