1America News reported France will lower COVID restrictions next week. Will this mean the same for the French side of SXM?

It's too soon to tell. The French side Prefect starts with the restrictions from France, but, as an overseas territory, has some latitude to modify them.

Hopefully they will do what's right to protect the health of their people.

Hopefully they will reduce the restrictions. Although St Martin has low vaccination rates most should have immunity due to prior infection especially with Omicron. Both the CDC and Israel recently reported natural immunity superior to vaccination.

OK, think it would be better to close this one here. If St. Martin decides to change their rules, someone should post that.
