The Sint Maarten EHAS website has been updated with the new requirements for entry to SXM. This thread WILL help people seeking entry to SXM and I'd bet "my own money" on this. Thanks Brian. Travel Requirements to SXM

I figured they would do it today after the holidays. Plenty of time for that January 1st flight.

I'm quite sure there was more to it than that and I'd bet my own money on it!

If I read this right..no test required for people who have had the 2 shots for covid coming from the United States. But still have to complete the EHAS paper. Did I miss something?

You'll need a booster to avoid the test.

So if I am fully vaccinated and I received my booster shot in November do I still have to wait 72 hours to submit my EHAS form?

With being fully vaccinated and having the booster, you do not need a Covid test. You can fill out your EHAS application 3 calendar days in advance of your arrival. This actually gives you a few extra hours.

Hello, we are visiting at the end of next month. I read on another forum that the required insurance doesn't cover if you are staying on the French side, which is where we will be staying. Does anyone know if 1) that means we don't need to purchase the insurance or 2) if we do purchase and get a positive test before we leave, we can move to a location on the Dutch side to isolate and would then be covered. Thanks for any insights!

Islandbound--if you are flying into PJIA, you need to purchase the insurance, with certain very limited exceptions. And yes, the insurance does cover you, regardless of whether you are originally staying on the Dutch side or not.
