Tom: I don't mind running in the rain, but that course is a little too wet for me! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/drown.gif" alt="" /> Best of luck to your team! I keep telling you all to train for 8 Tuff. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

My wife did a half marathon and by the time she finished training her knees were the size of bowling balls. Her friend, who is a coach as well as a world class iron man (woman), helped her get ready. My sweetie made it, but swore running would not happen again. I think she is an amphibian, but honestly she shines in the water.
As for me, I would love for a train to run from Coral Bay to Cruz Bay. However there is not a chance in all the blue water in the Caribbean that would get me to run over that hill.
Without starting a debate, my religion gets in the way.
When I was born God knew exactly how many heart beats I had in my life. There is no way in hell would I run that far an accelerate the count. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
The stress of making sure my sweetie has a dry towel is about all I can handle.
Please come over on Race Day - After all these years I would love to meet you.

Here is a little article from The Source. Will aim for a visit over there next weekend, maybe not for race day. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the link Nutmeg! We are definitely getting excited. Busy weekend - Race Day on Saturday followed by after race party on JVD on Sunday. I will be looking for someone to walk up say hello... I am Nutmeg.
Best of luck to you sailorjane. Hope to meet you race day morning, if not I hope your itinerary includes JVD on Sunday.

Ha Ha Ha... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> However this trip the big camera and its accompanying lens are staying home. I got a Canon G15 a few months ago and love it! Hopefully it will make traveling much easier. And to be honest I do have quite an array of STJ photos the big boy can take a break. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> I will still have my camera, but it will be a little bit smaller. Check out the blog - you will be able to find us! http://r4rpt2.blogspot.com/

We'll be there for the race on Saturday! We are traveling with two other couples. The three guys will be doing the swim and the three women will be cheering them on and waiting at the finish line with a cold one! Hope to see some of you there! Jo Ann
Love sailing the BVI's with friends.

The more the merrier! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
Don't forget your towel duties <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> Let them dry off and then let the cold ones begin!
Are they doing the 1, 2.25, or 3.5 mile swim?
See you there!
