Read the first one - it was pretty good. Plot was a bit stretched in places, but the SXM settings made it an enjoyable read. I'm planning on reading the next two when I find the time for some leisure reading again.

Ok, thanks. I've never read any of the SXM themed books. Anyone have one that they really liked?

I just finished the 1st one. I thought the conversations between the characters was odd at times, but really enjoyed hearing about locations I was familiar with and enjoyed the book as a whole. I'll most likely get the next ones as well. Light reading, which I like, and would be a good beach read...

Hi Carol. The Fourth Horseman by Ed Arre. Every time we go around the roundabout in Philipsburg, we rediscuss this book. Dave enjoyed it too. Right to the last paragraph. We both read it twice. Think I will start it again. Would love to hear your opinion someday.

I read the first book "Escape to the Islands". Started out interesting because of the familiar SXM locations/restaurants, etc., but it got boring about halfway through, and although I plowed through it for a few more chapters, I never did finish it. Nor do I care to read the other two. My opinion is that it is a book for guys. But would be interested in hearing more reviews.

There is a book about a real flight mishap that happened between sxm and St. Thomas. Actually that incident changed a lot of the safety instructions on flight travel according to FAA recommendations after the investigation:
