Does anyone have used SLS Lab for their covid test? How was the experience? Do you need reservations ?

On the SXM official website it says the following with regard to SLS..

Looks like it is walk-ins only. Others have reported waiting in line up to two hours. Doesn't sound good to me.

They do testing at Divi on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 3-6. We made an appointment after checking in for the Wednesday before we left last Friday. 3 of us took the test at 3:00pm, had email results by 4:00pm.

It seems he answered all 3 of the OP's questions.

SLS has many locations of their own as well as partnering with many locations, ie. Maho Medical, Divi, and quite a few more. At resorts where they have services, they take appointments and at most of their own locations they take walk-ins.

SLS has reduced their rapid antigen testing down to $45 at their locations.

We used SLS oin June at Hamster Dr. location. Very smooth. Had results in about 3 hours. Finding Hamster Dr. may be difficult. No street sign in June. Big Dental Clinic sign on corner. SLS last on left. Not very good signage.

Interested in this as well. I will need a PCR test and their PCR tests are very inexpensive, but they don't seem to make appointments. Just wondering if anyone has used them for PCR tests.

We used Hamster location last year. Only problem was wait time to get tested. That and parking is a problem. If you park upwards on the right side of street a woman yells then calls police.

We did ours by appointment via website. Maybe that changed. since June.

We just got back from the testing site to make an appointment for PCR test. It is only by walk ins. Line up already at the door.

Sunflower--WHICH testing site? Apparently some SLS sites accept appointments?

We went to the one on Hamster Road. It is the SLS. It is the one that is used for travellers. We need the PCR test to return to Canada. The price is $75.00.
There are other locations that may take appointments, but cost more.

We will be going there on Friday morning. Walk ins only.

On French side, had a nurse come to rental for an antigen test for 40euro, very quick and easy

Here is another option, they are open 6 days a week and they take appointments. Their charge for a PCR test is $70 which is actually $5 less than SLS. They are not far from the ACE super center in Cole Bay region.

We just returned from the Health Care Laboratory. This is only for locals, not for travellers. The Pharmacy does the test there but the cost is $110.00. So, we will be going to the one on Hamster road.
