Vanterpool, was not able to reach a lease agreement and decided to close the Marina Cay operation (or not try to reopen it since Irma/Maria pretty much destroyed it). Then he sold the company. I have not heard any credible rumors about future developments there.
That's what I heard..either owned or leased by them which would be a good thing.They could revamp the cottages there and offer two or three nights there and then shuttle folks to the ABC for a few more days there.Now that sounds like a great vacation!
Heard from multiple sources during our trip last week that Scrub Island is taking it over. Re-opening fuel dock and the restaurant from what I was told.
