Finally got up the nerve to take a vacation outside the US. It wasn't easy, but frankly, I felt safer, especially healthwise, in the Bahamas than in the U.S. Spent 2 nights at BahaMar in Nassau, and 7 nights at Fernandez Bay Village on Cat Island. Wow, the trip started off with a BANG, but glad it was overall a good time. Pretty scary incident with the stingray or whatever it was..

For sure! Normally it's just some natural (or otherwise) disaster on the trip down or back! I guess that's why your friends met you there this time? Didn't want you to jinx their travel plans??
