Good morning, We are headed back on Dec 4 -12. We have a last minute boat, ferry tickets both ways, plan a Covid test before we fly, and are very excited! This is our first BVI charter since May 2019. And our the first ever winter trip. All our previous charters have been in spring or summer.

What advice would you give us this trip? We are looking forward to spending time in North Sound at Saba and Bitter End after seeing it following Irma. And we always have go to Jost and hopefully plan a day in Anegada. Any other suggestions especially during Covid? Will the sailing be different in early-mid December than April - June? What are the not miss places to see since May 2019? What procedures do we need for Covid testing before Sunday ferry back to STT and home?

Thanks as always for all the board member advice,
Mike

Hopefully someone can tell us what's up at the Bitter End. As far as I can tell it is under construction and not open.

Maybe something at Bitter end will open three weeks from now, but it can't be much as it looks like there is very much construction ahead.
Saba Rock is more complete now than it was before Irma. I think the reconstruction is very nice.

We'll be crossing paths for sure ... we hit the water on December 3rd and are planning some of the standard stops. Norman Island, North Sound, Jost Van Dyke, and Soper's Hole. Have always loved the BEYC, but we aren't holding out much hope this time around. As far as sailing conditions go, we've always chartered in this time frame in the BVI so have nothing to compare it to. Mostly great sailing conditions, I'd say.
