My husband and I have both received our pre-approvals with the QR codes, however, his doesn't have the flight information on it. I applied for his first, and when I applied for mine, I had to fill in the flight info, which I didn't have to on his, for some reason. I've sent an email to the EHAS contact address, asking that they add the flight information to his approval, but haven't received a response after about 8 hours. My concern is that the agent at the airport won't let him board if the flight information isn't in the approval.
Has anyone else experienced this exact problem, and if so, what was your experience? Wondering if I should just reapply for him....

It wouldn't hurt to reapply , but if you have the prep approval form that is what is important. They will check his name on the form and that's really all they did for us. They aren't even scanning their own QR codes, they compared the names between the EHAS document and the passport.

I just have visions of some rule-follower who's been told that the flight number has to match the boarding pass. As a rule-follower myself, I can see that being a problem, lol.

It is possible when you submitted the application that you accidentally chose in-transit and that caused the missing flight number. If you go back and reapply, double check your responses, and that should fix everything.

I don't think so, because the pre-approval has the correct duration of the stay. If I don't hear anything by the end of the day, I'll reapply.

I noticed that on my husbands pre-approval forms when I submitted for both of us and we were approved. We had no problem when we arrived on 11/4/21.

Safe travels down, you'll both make it. If need be, throw my name around, you never know.

Just to clarify my concerns: I'm concerned that the agent at our originating airport won't allow him to board the flight if the flight number isn't on the pre-approval form. I have no worries at all about what would happen once we get to SXM, as I can show them the email I sent requesting that his approval be corrected.

Does EHAS approval show any flight number at all?

I just checked mine, we went BWI-ATL-SXM and the flight number for ATL-SXM is all that showed!

No flight numbers are shown at all, because I didn't enter them. The only flight number I entered on mine was the one that entered SXM, which makes sense, since that's really all they're concerned with. We've still not heard back from my email, so I'll resubmit in the morning.

Since I received no response to my email by this morning, I went ahead and reapplied. The system was aware that he had already purchased the insurance, so I was allowed to skip that step. It's all good.

Application approved with flight info. Probably wasn't necessary, but I feel better now π
