Georgia--no need for snide comments. If they want to come ashore on a 'deserted' beach, they could come ashore a couple hundred feet down the beach by the airport fence.
Just stating the truth. Very similar to comments made by many about cruisers at Orient. We've been at Karakter when people came in off a sailboat to get a beverage; perhaps these folks wanted to patronize El Zafiro.
If they wanted to go to El Z, they could land at El Z, or land in front of Karakter or Mary's Boon, if they wanted something to drink. Absolutely no reason at all for them to land in front of Beachside, unless they wanted to take advantage of the beach there being cleared of seaweed by the management of Beachside, or steal the use of their chairs.
And I have ZERO problem with cruisers coming to Orient. None.
Wow. Looks like a pretty nice boat; they probably can afford to rent chairs. Figuring out how to maneuver and beach a dinghy can be challenging. Assuming that these people would "steal" the use of the chairs is pretty judgmental. Shaking my head.
If they wanted to rent chairs, or they wanted to get a drink, they would pull in where such things were available. Period. No reason to use Beachside's beach.

Perhaps the prevailing winds or the direction of the waves, made it difficult to pull into El Zafiro. Again, I'm not an expert in maneuvering a dinghy, but it can't be easy to beach one in ocean waves.
And it's not Beachside's beach; it belongs to everyone.
Agree the beaches are public. Many years ago JackieO bought a villa on Guana Bay Beach and wanted the beach front for her private use only. It was denied because the beaches from the waters edge and 6 meters inland are public. The villa was sold right away.
Terri, I'm glad you liked it too. Louise loved her crepe, but she couldn't finish it. They were gladly to give us a take away box. I'll let her tell you more about that. BUT!! Nowhere on social media does it say "CASH ONLY"!! Good thing "bank of Fabi" was on the scene!! By time we left, no one around to take a photo in the cup! You and Rit look great!!! BTW, I did go looking for you to leave my book with you first!! LOL!!! Always good to see you at BSV!!

David, we love the place. I did eat my whole crepe this time !!! Chocolate and fruit!! Someone asked us if we wanted them to take a picture---sure beats all our selfies. Lol
Isn't it also very possible that maybe they dropped there specifically to meet someone staying at Beachside Villas? Thank you for sticking up for the "poor boat people".
We had a lovely breakfast at Reveil Matin in October. I counted 15 different fruits on my plate and each one was at the perfect peak of ripeness. Amazing.
Yes, their fruit salad is lovely! You can substitute the fruit salad for potatoes on many of their dishes, which I would do, if I didn't love potatoes so much!
