Monday, Monday
Another exciting day in the on-going exciting world of the Denleys, she says with her tongue firmly planted in her cheek! Woke up at about the usual time but today we headed out to the yacht club for breakfast. Found out Monique is off on Monday and Tuesday so we’ll have to go back later in the week to say our hellos.
On the way home we drive through Mullet to go to the grocery store at Porto Cupecoy. No golfers out when we went through either direction but the course looks green snd lush and nicely mowed. And they are trenching for what appears to be underground utilities along the main beach access road at Mullet. Not sure where or how people are parking since the main lot seemed to be unavailable but I don’t know that as fact.
Pool time after lunch and dinner tonight was at Jordan Village. Best plan was for Spaghetti House. When we arrived there was one person eating and within five minutes of our arrival every table there was filled and people were actually waiting for tables to open. Dinner was yummy and now we are home and soon off to lalaland.
Respectfully,
pat

Pat, Mullet bay parking lot is open and just as bad as ever…went today and it was booming, lot’s off filled rented beach lounges. Water was calm and delightful….dave

Did you access the lot from the road they’re digging up? When we went by they appeared to have it closed off but I’m glad to know I’m mistaken.
Im so envious, Dave, as Mullet is and has always been my favorite island beach. Sadly, I’m limited in beach capability right now but hoping next trip things will be back to normal and Mullet will be my go-to beach again.

Pat, I went in the normal way, it was open with ditching along the right side. It sounds like you have limited mobility. If so, I ended up parking right near the new bar with the boardwalk from the parking lot to the bar and it’s walkable just to the start of the beach. If you rented lounges from them, it maybe would be doable. Let me know if I can be helpful, I’m here until 11/21…it was really nice today. Mullet is my second favorite. Baie Rouge is my number one…dave

One of the really special things about staying here at BSV is that we have our beach location complete with the sight and sounds of the waves. And another Bennie is the pool is right next to our unit so I can be in or around the water all day without any sand issues.

One of our tastiest dinners was at Spaghetti House We love the Spaghetti House but I have to admit, it’s overall popularity has grown. All the tables were occupied last night and people were waiting to be seated, not to mention the large number of take-out diners. J had the linguine with clams and I had the beef carpaccio and both were excellent!
