The past two nights we have dined at Ocean 82 and Bistro Caraibes. Nobody asked for anything.
No mention of needing anything. No masks required. Anyone else staying on the French side have a different experience?

Interesting. Both restaurants are owned by the same owners. Possibly they are under 30 patrons? They required masks at Ocean 82 in June this year, from the spot where you enter the restaurant until you got to the table and sat down.

Could be. Both seat more than 30, but neither had more than 30 during our visit.

Unfortunately noncompliance is to be expected at some places.

We were at Spiga Saturday and they wanted to see copies of our VAX cards.

Did they also ask for ID, to confirm that the vax cards actually belonged to you? Just curious of what to expect later this month.

What is the situation on the Dutch side? Are restaurants requiring the Covid card? Casinos?

We decided to go back to Bistro Caraibes tonight. Will see if anything has changed.

I asked last night.

Freedomfighter--yes, I knew that. They have been partners in that venture from the beginning, I think.

It could also be that many establishments reduced their seating capacity in order to comply with social distancing. This in itself might have reduced their seating count below thirty. I know I feel better when not stuffed into a sardine can. Not everyone is out to play games with the rules. (noncompliance)

Restaurants and casinos on Dutch side not requesting vax or covid card. Casino Royale is checking temps.
