Which Beach Bars are open in the evening for dinner?
And which beach bar did Cristal - formerly from Le Piment - go to?

Thanks Jazzgal! Yes, that's where she is and I was able to check their hours. They seem to only be open until 6 pm - oh well

As far as I know, the restaurants ON the beach aren't open at night. Orient Village has a bunch of lovely restaurants. Can't go wrong there. L'Astrolabe is wonderful also, at Esmeralda. I haven't been there in a long time, but LaPlantation restaurant was also good, years ago. Just outside Orient, you also have Pizza and Pasta, a GREAT choice for pasta and pizza.  Enjoy!

When we were there in July, WAI Plage was open for dinner on Thursdays - with lobster and with music. Yes it's Christelle Barthelemy's place.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

The Wai Plage facebook page says live music on Thursday evenings starting at 6pm.

Thanks Carol! Already made a resy for L'Astrolabe for Friday night Lobstah night with Shine as the entertainer. Did that last time we were there and it's really lovely. Yes, we will definitely be at the Village for several nights. Just wanted to see if some on the beach dining was an option now. Sounds like Wai Plage will be open on Thursday night. So many places we want to try/get back too! We may need to stay longer than 11 days!!

I haven't personally tried Wai, but I understand it is pretty expensive.

Was there May. Wasn't priced outrageous but depending on what you have. Changed for chairs whether you ate or drank or not.

Charging for chairs is the norm on Orient.

Granted. Orange Fever doesn't as long as you purchase food or drinks. Nice padded chairs too.

Our experience on Orient is free chairs for customers at Chez Leandra, Le String, and Orange Fever. At the north end is where you pay.
