Anyone know if/what the plan is for setting up electric charging stations on both sides of the island. Seems to me all the hotels and villas would have to install these so we can eliminate fossil fuels on SXM.
As part of France, I would assume St Martin surely must comply with the Paris agreement.
Hard to envision how a place like Mt Vernon’s parking chaos would be electrified and how would you measure usage or would be free from the govt or flat rate.

Ditto, Pat! I think SXM has much bigger issues to deal with first. Complying with the Paris agreement on climate change is at a national level. St-Martin is such an infinitesimal part of France that they could shut the island down completely and it would not even register on the national scale. I think PP just likes to stir up hornet's nests to see what sort of rise they can create!! Just an observation.
