Something really needs to be done to put a stop to these "bikers" harassing people. It has now turned to attacks and injuries.

BIKERS ATTACK

This is so disgusting. If they catch the little b———-s who did this they should be seriously punished. What happened to the baby was bad enough but consider how much worse it could have been.

Respectfully,

pat

Unbelievable. While I've read about various crimes here over the years it was always a Jewelry store robbed somewhere we didn't frequent.

Now, people getting victimized for driving over a road we drive daily and last week the shooting near Pollos Hermanos.

Concerning

The taunting and intimidation of these clowns has been going on for years. We experienced it in Nov. 2019 in the Orleans area. It was not pleasant and very dangerous.

I do not understand why the police can’t catch these bikers. It’s a small island……

I wonder if there are any cameras--say on the causeway bridge??--that would have caught a picture of these creeps?? This is horrible!

I can't imagine the horror this family has suffered. The apprehension and swift and severe punishment should be the number one priority for the police. As said before- it's a small island- surely people know who these despicable fools are.

There would have been additional speed bumps left on the bridge if I were driving.

Please don’t associate these scooter gang scumbags with bikers (motorcycle enthusiasts). I am a biker not a scooter delinquent on a unregistered, unlicensed, probably stolen scooter.

I don't think anybody is associating law abiding bikers with this situation but I do see a lot of crazies on bikes when I'm driving around back home here in WA.

This is a serious question. If this happened to one of us while driving, what options do we have?

Not many when on the island. In the states it would be a different story. I was in a very uncomfortable situation 2 years ago with one of these groups.

sxmmartini...I also rode a motorcycle up to 3-4 years ago and had ridden for well over 40 years. I used the term "bikers" as that is what the Daily Herald used. Many on the island are of the "scooter gang scumbags" ilk that are the problem. Not a true motorcycle enthusiast, although there are some on the island and they are not what is creating the problem.

This is soooo disturbing!! Had an incident with a friend and me years ago on the French side and we were surrounded by some bikers. They tried slowing down in front of us while the others were on both sides and behind us. I told my friend to hang on because if they tried to enter the car I was going to run them over and keep going!! Of course, I would have been the one in jail!! But we were scared to death! Also I can't imagine this happening to a baby, just horrible, stupid and senseless. Lets hope what goes around, comes back at these a##holes.
