Just wondering when the airport may open so we can go directly there and have our entry COVID test done on arrival? Any insight would be appreciated.

Rumor has it the Virgin Gorda airport will reopen for domestic service in December (I heard the second week). I have not heard anything about when the Virgin Gorda and Anegada airports will be able to accept international travelers (without first stopping at Beef Island).

Premier announced the VG airport will be open by Thanksgiving, including a testing facility for international arrivals.

That's great news. Did he mention anything about Anegada (August George Airport) - as far as testing for international arrivals?

I don't think so. He only spoke about night flights on Anegada and the opening of the sea port for arrivals.
You can hear the whole speech on FB and I'm sure they will post a summary soon.

I saw the news article about the night flights. That's been in the works for several years now. It's good they are doing it in case someone needs air evacuation for medical reasons.
