Will the antigen test cover us getting to both the USVI and BVI? We are running into the 5 day problem because we are flying on a Sunday (Oct3) and spending a night in STT and ferrying on Oct 5..

For the USVI, you can take the test anytime after Tuesday, October 28. For the BVI, you can take the test anytime starting Thursday, Oct. 30.
Rapid antigen test results are fast so you could test on Thursday and satisfy both entry requirements with the same test. I'd just use the eMed test. It's easy and you decide how painful it is.

We are travelling Oct 4th arrival STT ,Oct 5 on to Tortola. FYI..Road Town Fast ferry is the one running that day at 4.45..just booked for the four of us. We are concerned about the five days for Tortola if we test on the Thursday before..the Rapid test would work for both..

Why are you concerned? Your BVI arrival is on Tuesday and that is Day 0. Count up from there and Thursday, September 30 is Day 5.
If you're really worried, you could wait until Friday (day 4) and take it then. The results are almost immediate so it's not as restrictive as the PCR test you had to do last time.

So the antigen test covers both BVI and USVI? That is easy but the other test turns it into a problem!

Yes, antigen is accepted by both.
What is the other test?
