BVI News posted an article regarding bars on Tortola closed and fined due to failure to observe Covid mitigation restrictions. It also mentions a bar on Anegada was also closed and fined $1,000.00 last week, but did not mention the name of the bar. I was simply wondering which bar, as it would likely be a tourist 'hang-out', rather than a spot where the locals gather on Tortola.

284 Media reported:

"The Family Bar and Restaurant which is located in Paraquita Bay was said to be in breach of social distancing protocols on the night of Sunday September 12."

and

"On Saturday night Dos Chicas Bar which is located in Sea Cow’s Bay was fined $1000 and ordered to close following a similar breach of the social distancing COVID-19 protocols."

Haven't seen any others mentioned. I will post if I see it.

Most likely Secrets as it's really the only night time hangout. I doubt it was a tourist bar at this time of year.

close buy no cigar it was during the day, they also didn't get closed just a fine for not ensuring people (all locals) were not wearing masks.
