We're coming to St. Maarten January 1st. KAYAK says the bars and restaurants in both St. Martin and St. Maarten are closed. (under frequently ask questions) Is that True? If so any idea when they might be opening? We're hoping they just haven't updated their information.

Uhmn, Tom, you go to Kayak for info about St. Maarten???  In any event, that is not true and frankly I don't know that it was EVER true..

A lot of Restaurants do close for annual vacation during August/September, some are closed now, but all should be open in January
