After a little more research, we're thinking about going to Bucuti & Tara. It looks beautiful and much newer than the Divi Aruba All Inclusive. Thinking of staying in one of the Tara Suites. Anybody been there and does anyone have any input on the place? Thanks in advance.

Thanks ! We went to the website and to trip advisor and the place gets amazingly good reviews, but they don't explain anywhere how you go about asking for a terrace room vs a balcony room at the Tara Suites section of the Bucuti Tara. The room booking area on the Bucuti website doesn't have any option for choosing one over the other as far as balcony vs ground floor terrace room. Weird...I'm gonna contact them directly.

I would contact the hotel directly. We have stayed there twice, not in the Tara suites, but found the hotel to be perfect for us. Pool, huge beautiful beach and a restaurant. Manchego (sp?) next door with a great steak house. It's been a few years since but thoroughly enjoyed it. Not one of those high risers. It's a honeymoon haven.

We stayed at Bucuti 5 years ago and it was great. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on Aruba. IMO the best rooms are the "Bungalows"; we were very happy that we chose one. There are just three.

We ended up going with Bucuti Tara over Divi All Inclusive. We'll be staying at the Tara building, and we requested a ground floor terrace room. The woman I spoke with on the phone said that they cannot guarantee terrace versus a balcony. I thought this was pretty ridiculous, seeing as it is not until November. But, regardless, we made reservations for the Tara suite. If we end up with a balcony, so be it. I'm sure the view will be great.

I would go with the 3rd or 4th floor. What week in November is this. I always go the 1st week at the Casa Del Mar.

That's the same week I go with my family. Maybe we'll run into one another.
