Has anyone done this? Does PR have portal and how difficult is it to upload all the info. We almost canceled this trip because I am not very techy. But we got the best air fares we have every gotten in the last 10 years. Thanks, Anita

They do have a portal and it's not difficult at all. Most of our guests have been able to complete it standing at the airport in less than 10 minutes. Here is the link.

Jason, do you know how it works traveling from Beef Island to PR if one is not leaving the airport? Do they fill out the same portal and need a negative test?

I just did it yesterday. You show your negative test at the check-in at Beef Island and do NOT fill out the portal.
After immigration and customs, you pass thru baggage claim and the national guard is there checking for portal approvals. You just tell them you are in-transit and show your outbound flight information and they let you pass to the elevator to go back up to the ticket counters and security screening.

I just came here to ask a related question. We're looking at CLT - SJU - EIS for March with an overnight in SJU. Are you permitted to leave the airport and come back for the flight the next day or do you have to spend the night in the airport?

You can leave. You'll need to fill out the PR Safe Travel portal.
