If you need a Covid test to exit the BVI, IMO there is no better place than Great Harbor at JVD. Make an appointment via email (or in person if passing through earlier). Dinghy ashore for the test between 7:00 and 8:30, walk to the clinic tent behind the church with no roof, pay (cash or credit card), done in 5 minutes, back to the boat, results emailed by noon the next day.

We did that in April and it was easy, they even held the ferry to get our test over for transport.

What was the cost & turn around time?

How many days in advance can you do it before you leave?? We have a boat on Thursday but not on Saturday the day we leave (staying at Smuggler's Cove).

If you leave on Saturday, you can take the test as early as Wednesday (assuming you are entering the US).

The proctored home tests, like eMed.com, are super easy. Might ask around to see if anyone has extras. I just got rid of all my extras.

JVD clinic did a great job - if the anchorage is crowded, get in your dinghy and get over there early - the line forms quickly and it's HOT!
