Sad that this is necessary and very difficult for visitors, pretty much no way to have dinner out..

the staff at La Playa called the room at 5pm. Imagine my surprise as our room phone rang!. The front desk called to let us know about the impending curfew tomorrow. Very nice as i do not follow the news and would not have had a clue..
We went to dinner at La Favela (mmm- BBQ Octopus). and asked them what they would do? Open early and try to move the customers along before 8..
Which sounded like a typical American restaurant where they show up and plop the bill down before you have a chance to even consider dessert ..
we plan on eating a big lunch tomorrow while they work it out. The Most common comment heard tonight was concerning the ignorance of Politicians..
ah, c'est la vie. one can only hope this does not degenerate into another lockdown here or at home.

Well it is really sad but the Dutch Side went over 300 active COVID-19 cases today. 300!!! That is terrible.
