I am looking to rent a 20' to 25' power boat for a day to take my family around the lagoon and west side of the island. Anyone have any recommendations?

The boathouse has rentals, exquisite has many, they are behind Hertz car rental along the runway.

Just a suggestion, whatever service you use, remember you get what you pay for. If you are leaving the lagoon, be sure you have a reputable boat from a reputable company.
There are plenty of boats that can be chartered with a captain too. $500-750 per day gets you plenty of boat, with a captain from a few of them.
Coconut Reef Tours will let you take the whole boat, with captain and beverages for about $750 and you don't have to drive. Or you can pay per person, about $60 each.
Have fun!

I have rented boats all over the world and I would never pay more than $400 a day for the kind of boat I am looking to rent. I am surprised that there doesn't seem to be more rentals than there are and that the ones I've seen are so expensive.

I've looked many times, both on the French and the Dutch sides. Seems that you can't rent anything that size for any less than $500 for a half-day!
Too much moolah for my wallet.
Also too much dough, claims, dead presidents, greenbacks and too much wampum also!

How many in your group...I had to look @ offerings in marigot marina...and yes the $$/euro is high plus cost of fuel.....nothing like taking a boat out on your own (have done twice/aquamarina on lagoon} but that was a 19' center console/90 4 stroke Yamaha.. maxed out with 6 adult...10 of us opted to do eagle all day farewell trip ...circumnavigates island and stops for lunch (included) in marigot,,,Please advise if you find something

It's just the four of us, and all experienced boaters.

Less than the brochure for all day. I negotiated a lower rate. Prefer not to say. I think being a multi day and multi year renter helped.

You can also try Aqua world in Simpson Bay. They have 18 - 26 ft. Reasonably priced.

Aquaworld no longer renting. We tried that on our last trip, in Feb. We ended up day chartering a 47' sailboat. What a beautiful way to cruise the island. 1 day crewed charter, with Lunch, and snacks for 4-6. Call "B&B on the Sea" +1721-523-7713. We are so glad we did this. Cost $600 for the day, plus Tip. Captain and chef. Nothing to worry about. Snorkel gear was included. Boat even had Airconditioning, which the ladies appreciated! Happy hunting. John.

Sounds wonderful but just not my thing. I want to go explore beaches and for me exploring doesn't involve a captain or crewman.

We rented from MP Yachting in Marigo marina, 6,5 meter single motor boat for the whole day, paid $450.00 including fuel. That was during this year regatta. Had lots of fun!

Does B&B on the sea have a website? We are interested in chartering w drinks and lunch for the day for 4 & pay less than or = $700. Anyone else know of a boat nausea this, please respond. We don't Jane enough experience to sail on our own. Merci!
