Does anyone know if Pack Light is still open? I would like to rent an umbrellas and beach chairs while in St. Maarten. Thanks in advance.

CaribLee--Yes, that is true, he is not on island right now, or he wasn't a couple of weeks ago. Another gentleman took care of drop off and pick up for us.

Does anyone know if this type of service is available in other vacation destinations? We were in Florida in May and no one had chairs to rent on Hutchinson Island. We had to buy two chairs at Lowes and then at the end of our vacation left them to a nice couple we met because we could not take them on the plane with us back home.

Beach stuff can be rented through LaVista office. I was under the impression it was only for people staying at Lavista and not for the general public but I could be wrong.

The only thing I can think of, is next time. Try going on the department of tourism in that vacation spot, ask the question or on other social media sites.
