I'm scheduled to fly to the BVI's ,on the fifth of July. We filled out the portal on Wednesday June 30th . No response from the portal yet the portal shows pending as of this morning. When should I get worried and start the phone calls and emails {if I can find them}? I'm sure that they work the applications by date of travel but between hurricane and portal this is not a stress free vacation!

My experience is that when you filled out the portal has no relevance to approval. They work the applications based on your scheduled arrival time. Most seem to get approved the night before. G

We went through portal process last week. Filled out on Friday for Monday travel. 2 families traveling together, 3 separate surnames. First approvals came through Saturday. Next batch came through Sunday AM. Last came through Sunday PM. They seemed to get approved by last name in batches. We were waiting for that last one with a bit of apprehension, but I sent a message to the WhatsApp number provided and received approval within 10 minutes. I found that to be a positive note in an otherwise burdensome process. Bottom line, I started contacting at the 24 hours to travel mark.
Separately, on our USVI approvals (traveling through STT). Received 1 approval (out of 7) almost immediately, then silence. I just resubmitted the other 6 on Sunday and approval was immediate.
Down here now, and the headache is worth it. Good luck!

We submitted for a party of 2 at 6PM Tues 6/29 and arrived on the 4:30pm Native Son yesterday. I sent a message via WhatsApp around 10PM Thurs 7/1 and received approval around 12:30AM... which was a relief since we left for the airport just after 6AM. The entry process at the ferry dock took about 1hr15m and we were towards the front of line.
