What options are there for testing in St Thomas? Due to passport issues, we're planning on having our boat moved from BVI to USVI for our trip end of July. We're all vaccinated except for my son who is 6 and not able to be yet. So it seems we will need to have him tested before our trip and also on the return from St. Thomas to San Juan - we'll be spending 2 nights in San Juan on our return.

Thanks!

We test at the Community Medical Laboratory behind the hospital. $75 per person and walk in. You go in the building, there are forms in the lobby to fill out. Check inside the office and they will take one person inside to pay. They will gather a group and take the samples outside. We received our results via email same day.

Thanks Rick! Any recommendations on best way to access from the boat? We'll be departing early our last day so we'll likely need to test at least the day before.

Taxi works. I call the St. Thomas Taxi Association dispatcher at ‭(340) 774-7457. You could do your last day at Water Island and dinghy to Crown Bay or take the water taxi. Another option is to anchor in Long Bay / Charlotte Amalie Harbor, dinghy to the Yacht Haven dinghy dock and go to the taxi stand (left in the parking lot and walk a bit). If it were just me, the walk from Yacht Haven is not bad; but, Sweet Christine would not be pleased.

I used St Thomas Clinical Reference Lab by Banco Popular when my US testers screwed up. I got the result in less than four hours for $175..well worth it at that point..I higjly recommend them ..very helpful..
